Desk-Worker Pain
Your desk is writing cheques your body cashes.
Office workers, founders, remote workers: the job is sitting, the body was not built for nine hours of it, and something eventually complains. Usually the neck, the low back, or both.
Why desk bodies hurt
It is rarely one dramatic injury. It is dose: hours of stillness, low overall strength, screens slightly wrong, stress living in the shoulders, and a body that has quietly adapted downward to match the job. The fix is not a fancy chair. It is restoring the capacity the desk has been draining.
What we actually do
Hands-on treatment to settle the tight, cranky bits, then the practical part: a small number of targeted exercises that fit inside a working day, honest advice about your setup, and a plan for building enough strength that sitting stops being a threat. We are realistic about your calendar. Nothing we prescribe takes an hour a day.
The pattern we watch for
Desk pain that keeps recurring in the same way is a pattern worth auditing properly. If your flare-ups are on repeat, the Pain Pattern: Full System Audit looks beyond the sore spot at the whole system: sleep, stress, workload, strength, and lifestyle.
