Back Pain
Back pain, taken seriously.
The morning stiffness, the flare-up that arrives from nowhere, the back that has opinions about long drives. Back pain is the most common thing we see, and the most misunderstood.
What is usually going on
The vast majority of back pain is not caused by damage you should fear. It is usually a system that has been asked to handle more than it currently can: long sitting hours, a sudden spike in activity, poor sleep, stress, or strength that has quietly drifted below what your life demands. The pain is real. The catastrophe usually is not.
How we approach it
First we calm things down with hands-on treatment and clear explanations, so you can move with more confidence. Then we work out what is actually contributing, and rebuild the movement, strength, and tolerance your life asks of your back. No lock-in plans, no fear-based selling, and imaging only when the picture genuinely calls for it.
Your first visit
Forty-five minutes. Most of it is listening and examining before anything else happens. You leave understanding what is going on in plain language, with hands-on treatment done and a plan in your hand.
